Our hope is that your mission experience isn’t just a trip, but a life changing experience which includes what happens the months leading up to the trip and the months after you return.

I believe in one God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 6:1-9, Matt 16:16, John 14:16-20)
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Creator of all things. (Genesis 1:1, Acts 17:24-28)

I believe in Jesus Christ, God’s one and only son, my one and only Savior (John 3:16)
■ Who was born Jesus of Nazareth, both fully human and fully divine, conceived of the Holy Spirit and the virgin Mary. (Luke 1:26-39)
■ Jesus died for us on the cross, in our place, to reconcile us to God. He arose from the tomb and gave us the hope of eternal life. (1 Corinthians 15:3-8)
■ Jesus will one day return for His own and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

I believe in the Holy Spirit.
■ He dwells within every Christian empowering them to live a holy life and equipping them with gifts for serving others. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11)
■ He encourages, guides, comforts, and transforms in the way of Christ. (John 16:5-15)

I believe in the Bible — God’s Holy Word, Scripture. I believe God inspired the autographs (original writings) of the Scriptures and those autographs were without error (2 Timothy 3:14-17; Hebrews 4:12, 2 Peter 1:20-21)
■ I accept the Bible as the final authority for all matters of faith and practice.

I believe the Bible teaches that human beings are created in the image of God, but because of personal sin, are consequently lost and without hope apart from Jesus Christ. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:23; Acts 4:12)

I believe the Bible teaches that salvation – forgiveness of sins – is only by grace through the blood of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 26:28; 1 Peter 1:18-19; 1 John 1:7)
■ I believe the Bible teaches that one receives God’s grace by putting faith in Christ, repenting of sin, confessing Christ and being immersed into Christ, but that none of these are sufficient in and of itself for the assurance of salvation without grace shown by Christ’s work on the cross and His resurrection from the dead. (Romans 5:1-2; Acts 17:30; Acts 2:38; Romans 6:1-7)

I believe in the Church, the body and bride of Christ, which consists of Christians everywhere. (Ephesians 4:1-16; 1 Corinthians 12:12-27)
