Commission Encounter was started in the fall of 2015. It was started with God’s blessing by Marcus Mobley who wanted to create a way for people to fulfill the Great Commission through short-term mission trips. There is a definite need in smaller churches to tangibly experience the Great Commission. With many ministers not having the experience, connections, or time to plan out a customized trip; there is a need for Commission Encounter’s services now more than ever.
Over the last 4 years, Commission Encounter has experienced growth in many different ways. We’ve been able to build relationships with various ministries and missionaries abroad, host several different trips, and develop lasting partnerships with several local hospitals, foundations, and organizations.
